You are too kind. These books are beyond being a rip off. I bought a few used books on EBay from the past two cycles just to check them out, and even at used prices they were a rip off. Candidly, you would do your followers a great service if you would tell them which pieces are in the public domain and free or are a part of other essential collections. Or just post what the pieces / requirements are and give the students (and their parents) other options than buying those flimsy books. Your videos are outstanding and I encourage you to keep up your good work. Thank you!

How long can it take to move between grades? My child is starting grade 1 at the age if 12. Some of his classmates are grade 5. He thinks he will never catch up (he is competitive)

I’ve been teaching for 57 years. I’ve used nearly every method. I discovered Piano Safari ten years ago, and have never looked back. I regret that I didn’t have a method like this 57 years ago. I regret that I wasn’t taught by a method like this.

Tempo can be the guide. If you can play the piece reasonably accurately at the indicated bpm then it might be time to move on?

As an elderly beginner, these exercises are superbly explained. One issue I have is that when three notes are played together as a chord, the sheets don't indicate what the chord is.

My short answer would be…. It depends! If you have a concert at the Vienna’s Opera or if you play at home, alone or for friends. Often a pianist is more severe for himself than his auditoire. You know you made a mistake, not them. They just appreciate the moment. I play piano for 15 yeans now. Pop-jazz (80%) and classic. I never worked on only one piece. 2-3 pieces at the time of different level. I try to work on pieces that will help me improve something different. I want to include piece that can follow me in my progression. Eg: Automn Leaves…i play it now differently than a few years ago. When working on a new technic, i can apply on it. I use « Roulette » free app to help me not forget a piece. Tiny Decision ( my free app), is used. The app decides for me what to play, or practice.
